What is the Awareness Test?
The Awareness Test is a short, anonymous online questionnaire that measures your organization’s current level of cybersecurity awareness. Employees answer practical questions about everyday security behavior, such as phishing and email checks, password habits, safe network use and VPN, incident reporting, physical security, screen locking, and secure screen sharing. The results highlight the biggest risks and knowledge gaps, so you can plan targeted awareness training and follow-up actions.
Purpose
- Measure the current awareness level (baseline or repeat measurement)
- Identify key risk areas (e.g., phishing and link verification, password hygiene, incident readiness, secure remote working)
- Provide input for an improvement plan and targeted awareness training
How does it work?
- Employees receive an email invitation with a link to the test
- The test contains 33 short yes/no questions
- Answers are collected and reviewed in a response overview, then summarized at team or group level (not individual level)
Good to know
- The test is anonymous.
- It only takes about 5–10 minutes to fill out.
- We can only include results from tests completed no later than 2 days before our report discussion. Please encourage employees to complete the test in time.
- To help employees recognize this invitation as legitimate, announce the awareness test via a separate channel as well.
- Participation is recommended for everyone with access to systems or company data.
